How Far in Advance Should You Book?

As a small catering business, we generally only book one event per day. If you have your heart set on a specific date, please reach out to book it as soon as possible. We have weddings and other events that book us up to one year in advance. A non-refundable deposit is used to secure your date.

What Types of Catering Services Can We Provide?

Our greatest strength are our buffets. We also love do do cocktail events, as well as breakfast and lunches. We do plated dinners up to 60 people by request. We can do events in almost any space. We also do drop offs on disposable platters, but not all menus work for them. We can cater to the whole province, but there is an added fee for events over 2 hours away from Windsor.

What Kind of Food do we Serve, and is it a Set Menu?

Our menus are great, but they are just great outlines. We love to create whatever you can dream of for your events, both big and small. We do work with a few local suppliers that we love and trust. Our menus can be as diverse as you can think of, but generally with our Nova Scotian flair.

What about the Costs?

The prices on the menus are for food cost only. We find labour cost, delivery cost and other costs vary quite a bit from event to event, and we like to be as transparent with our pricing. Chef Colton creates each and every quote to match the needs of our clients.

How do We Book?

Please reach out on our contact form and Chef Colton will get back to you within three days. We can also do in person, zoom or phone call meetings.

How Do we Source Our Products?

We love to shop at our local vendors and grocery stores for Canadian and Nova Scotian made products. We do not get our food delivered, and hand pick all our products ourselves so we can ensure the best quality for our clients.

What about Dishware?

We rent out our side plates, dinner plates, soup bowls and various cutlery as needed to clients who have already booked with us. The rental cost is $3 per person for up to 120 people. We currently don’t own enough glassware for rentals, but work with local third party rental companies to get you what you need.

Do We Supply Wine, Liquor or Bartenders?

We do not currently supply any wine, liquor or bartending services. We try to concentrate all our resources on the food and service.

Is Gratuity Included in the Cost?

We never include gratuity or tips in our charges. If you do add them in, we very much appreciate it.

Can We Create Wedding Cakes?

Sous Chef Erin will create a wedding cake for clients who have ordered through us. Generally she creates 6″ cakes for photos, starting at $350. Please reach out to see what we can create for you.

Can We Accommodate Children and People with Various Allergies?

We do our best to cater to children. We do have a children’s menu on our classic buffet, and can work with you to make sure everyone has a meal. We do our best to cater to allergies, however, our kitchen does include nuts, dairy and gluten. Please talk to us if any allergies come up during booking.
